Prime Minister Electric Wheelchair Scheme 2020 Registration Online

Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the 2nd phase of Prime Minister electric wheelchair scheme 2020 registration online for all the disable students of the universities of Pakistan.

Applications are invited from the deserving students who fulfill the eligibility criteria they can apply online.The core objective of the scheme is to empower special students having a disability and to enable them equally to contribute to the economic development of the country besides institutionalizing inclusive development leaving no one behind.

Eligibility Criteria

♦ Those students are eligible who cannot move from one location to another location without wheelchair due to physical disability.

♦ Special Students of HEC recognized public sector universities and degree awarding institutions of Pakistan and AJ&K requiring ambulatory assistance.

♦ Holding Nationality of Pakistan.

♦ Valid Certificate of Special ambulatory need from relevant government institution duly verified by the head of the respective institution .

♦ Students enrolled in Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MS/MPhil and PhD Programs.

Those Students whom are not Eligible

♦ Those individuals who have already received the wheelchair they are not able to apply for the registration of said program.

♦ The distribution will be made on merit basis and aspirants who fulfill the eligibility criteria for this program.

How to Apply

If you are eligible for the Prime Minister Electric Wheelchair Scheme 2020 then you can apply online for the registration after following the procedure given below of how to apply;

♦ It is advised to all the students who fulfill the eligibility criteria can submit application form online from eportal.hec.gov.pk/wheelchair withing 30 days of publishing of advertisement.

♦ Take a print of fill application form.

♦ Attach necessary documents with application form submit concerned chancellor / registrar office.

♦ Wheelchairs are distributed between the students purely on merit basis.

♦ All the applications should be submitted before 15th May, 2020.
